Here is a different red style that works fine, a Kylo one from Fett's site: StylePtr>,DeepSkyBlue,200,100,400>,Pulsing>,AudioFlicker>,BrownNoiseFlicker,100>,AudioFlicker>,AudioFlicker>,AudioFlicker>,Gradient>,AudioFlicker>,BrownNoiseFlicker,100>,AudioFlicker>,AudioFlicker>,3500>,AudioFlicker>,White,80,50>,800,500,Black>(), "vader"}, Here's the style that is shown, it's a Vader one from Fett's site: Rainbow patterns also work fine, so I assume my soldering job was ok.Īlso using the #include "./props/saber_sa22c_buttons.h" to let me change fonts with 1 button. The problem only appears to happen when using red coloured blade styles, but not all of them. The blade is an LED string consisting of 75 PL9823 LEDs. Excuse the weird lengths, I left a lot of excess wire for when I actually wire stuff into the hilt (also please excuse the reversed colour polarity wires for the LEDs, I assumed long leg was + but I was wrong)ĭ/file/d/14_gBNDSf_Hxz5Hb7JcTynmG3Xfj_nmvx/view?usp=sharing I'm using the basic Neopixel wiring setup as shown in the Proffieboard V2 manual, but only 1 button (hooked up as activation button), and no recharge port, so the Batt- goes directly to the Batt- pad. I can't figure out if there's something wrong, or if it's some sort of intended localized clash/melt feature that's just weird with the breadboard setup:ĭ/file/d/1p-NjxISxnXYYvS9BEbNcx8DmAHut-yv4/view?usp=sharing

Just wired up a Proffieboard v2 for testing, and getting some weird flickering on certain blade styles, as shown below.
